About
I'm a part-time freelance photographer sharing all my humble artwork here.
I do outdoor and indoor portraits, events and food photography.
I started my photogprahy with a 2nd hand SLR Minolta X700 which was bought in 1995. I carried it around the town in Auckland during my university's days, taking photos without any basic photography knowledge. I had used many rolls of film every weekend but less than 20% of the developed photos were acceptable.
As we entered the Millennium year, SLR camera reached its digital era, film camara started to go down the slope. The steep price of DSLR cameras had held me back to upgrade from my SLR.
In 2010, I finally purchased my first DSLR camera, Pentax K5. It was such a joyful and thrilling moments to me after waiting for a decade.
The best moment was getting this precious gadget with my wife's companionship. I personally felt that having my loved one's support and encouragement to do things I enjoy is the happiest rewards in my life.
From that day onwards, K5 was never been left alone whenever and wherever I travel
I believe my photography skills still have rooms for improvement and self-enrichment. These skills can excel through numerous practises, self-studies, correcting self-mistakes and acknowledging critics from others.
I really hope that my photos will bring you joy and warmth. But your comments are most welcome.
Do drop me an email if you wish to have a copy of my artwork or would like to engage my photography service.
